we have a night of strangeness in stall, by ways of LIZ IS EVIL & NOISY
COINCIDENCE, as well as some new local talent in the form of two bands from
north Leitrim ways – THE DEAD STARS & LAST ONE BACK. Formed in 2008, LIZ IS EVIL have played live all over Ireland & UK. Their debut EP ‘Beached’ received enthusiastic reviews & got them a 2FM radio session. Their debut LP ‘Failed Philosophy’ was hailed by radio & press alike & got nominated for a Choice Music award & was included in the Top 50 albums of the year by 2FMs top alternative DJ Dan Hegarty, who said ‘they have a brilliant knack for hooks & songwriting’. 2011 saw the band release the ‘Anno Domino’ download single & video, several festival appearances & continuing to bring their frantic live show wherever possible.

Noisy Coincidence are a 5 piece avant garde, sound sculpturing experimental band based in Arklow, originally from Poland…... po latach podrozy i przygod muzycy wspoltworzacy wczesniej takie zespoly jak: Tissura Ani, Electric Blues Mutants, Potty Umbrella (zespol gral sporo w europie takze z legendarnym Nomeansno)graja znowu razem... na zielonej wyspie udalo sie nam skompletowac sklad i powolac do zycia zespol o nazwie noisy coincidence... jest nas pieciu i gramy mix punk, noise, rock, grunge... tworzymy w tym skladzie (gitara, bas, rog barytonowy, cornet, perkusja) od okolo dwóch lat, zespol niedawno nagral debiutancki material w stolicy irlandii, obecne szuka wydawcy i ludzi zainteresowanych wspolpraca... chcemy promowac nasz debiutancki material podczas regularnych koncertów... jesli lubisz dziwna-alternatywna muzyke i emocje podczas koncertow . after years of travel and adventure musicians who were earlier a part of bands such as: Tissura Ani, Electric Blues Mutants, Potty Umbrella (the band played a lot in Europe also with the legendary Nomeansno) are playing together again ... on the green island we managed to complete the crew and to set up a band called Noisy Coincidence... it five of us and we play a mix of: punk, noise, rock and grunge... create in this crew (guitar, bass, baritone horn, cornet, drums) from about two years, the band recently recorded debut material in the capital of Ireland, now we are looking for a publisher and people interested in cooperation ... we want to promote our debut material in regular shows... if you like a strange alternative music and emotion during the concert then NOISY COINCIDENCE is the band for you to see, so don’t miss them!
Two new bands from North county Leitrim - LAST ONE BACK from Manorhamilton dealing in no nonsense hands down straight forward classic pop punk & THE DEAD STARS from Dromahair who play an indie rock sound tinged with emo screamo leanings. Both bands play with enthusiasm and sincerity , a joy to perform and not a chore.
